Salon Sibell carries a variety of hair extensions, ready for purchase with or without install. We have selected the highest quality extensions and carry them in store: tape-in, sewn-in weft and clip-in, in 16″ and 20″ lengths.
Each type of extension has its own advantages and disadvantages, and the right choice depends on personal preference, hair type, lifestyle and budget.
A popular option because they are easy to install and remove, making them a great choice for those who want to switch up their look quickly and easily. Clip-ins are also a good option for those who don’t want to commit to permanent extensions, or who have fine or thin hair that may not be able to support the weight of other types of extensions.
A great option for those who want a more natural look and feel. The extensions are attached using a thin strip of adhesive tape, which lies flat against the scalp and hair, creating a seamless blend. Tape-ins suit fine or thin hair because they are lightweight and won’t weigh the hair down.
Sewn in or attached using micro rings. Wefts are a good option for those with thick or coarse hair, as it can support the weight, and they can be used to create a variety of styles including braids and updos.

Our stylists are highly trained in extension installation and have years of experience working with all types of extensions. We work with you to determine the best type for your hair and desired look, and customize the installation for a seamless finish.
Our stylists are also skilled in color matching and blending, so your extensions look natural against your own hair. We use high-quality extensions and products, and take care to keep your natural hair healthy and undamaged throughout the process.
Brushing: Brush your extensions daily, starting at the ends and working your way up to the roots. Use a soft-bristled brush or a specialized extension brush to prevent tugging and pulling. Be gentle and avoid brushing too vigorously, as this can damage the extensions and your natural hair.
Washing: Wash every 7-14 days with a sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner. Avoid getting the adhesive tape or micro rings wet if you have tape-in or micro ring extensions. Gently massage the shampoo into your scalp and extensions, rinse thoroughly, and follow with a conditioner to keep the hair soft and tangle-free.
Drying: Gently pat dry with a towel after washing; avoid rubbing or twisting, which causes tangling and damage. Avoid high heat or applying heat directly to the adhesive tape or micro rings, which can weaken the bond.
Styling: Use a heat protectant spray with hot tools such as straighteners or curling irons. Avoid excessive heat, never apply heat directly to the adhesive tape or micro rings, and limit hot-tool use where you can.
Sleeping: Tie hair up in a loose braid or ponytail before bed to prevent tangling and damage, and avoid sleeping with wet hair.
Your stylist will give you detailed care instructions for your specific type of extensions, and we carry extension care products in the salon. We recommend regular maintenance appointments so we can check the extensions, reposition them if needed, and replace any that have become worn.
